Can I use a chocolate fondue set for cheese fondue?

I want to make a delicious, romantic meal for my boyfriend and I.

I found a small, chocolate fondue set in a cupboard. Could I use this for cheese fondue?

It is one of those stone bowls with a tea-light under it.

I suppose the actual volume would be a little small, but if I keep the cheese in a larger pot in the kitchen and use the small set for serving on the table, would that work? Can I use a chocolate fondue set for cheese fondue?
dose not matter whether its stone or not you can use it you can even use a normal pan all the candle dose is keep it warm i have found you a recipe to do then just pour your Chocolate after you have done all the necessary thing in the pan first then pour it into the fondue when ready for it

6 ounces of fine-quality bittersweet chocolate (no more than 64% cacao if marked)
? cup of heavy cream
2 Tablespoons of unsalted butter
2 Tablespoons of Cognac or other brandy
You will also need lots of “goodies” to dip into the chocolate. Choose any of your favorite fruits. Just be sure to cut them up into bite size pieces. Some favorites of mine are; strawberries, raspberries, pineapple (fresh or canned), grapes, bananas, and dried apricots. You can also try pound cake cut into chunks, shortbread cookies, and ruffled potato chips! Chocolate coated potato chips are a real surprise dunk-er! im sure you are going to love the sweet and salty combination.

You can get all the “dunking bits” prepared in advanced and put on a serving dish. (Keep the cut fruit in the refrigerator, covered, until you are ready to serve the fondue.)

Put the cream, butter and Cognac in a small sauce pan.
Bring everything to a simmer over medium heat. While that is coming to a simmer, chop the chocolate into really tiny pieces.
Remove the pan from the heat when everything has begun to simmer,
Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth. If you leave chocolate fondue over the candle under for any length of time, stir it occasionally to avoid scorching.i think your boyfriend will love this also if you used cheese it dose not stick to the bowl part or leave any taste of a cheese so go ahead and use your fondue i would get some skewer's to dip all the lovely fruits and dip your other item's straight into the chocolate this could ne a very romantic evening for both of you hope you try this out wish i was there ive got the same as you but never used mine but will do now hope this as helped you go to start cooking.com it shows you how it works and the fondue is the same as both of ours i do hope you will give it a try i am its so easyCan I use a chocolate fondue set for cheese fondue?
Can't see why not, but if it's stone without any finish or glaze on it, some of the cheese flavour might stay in the stone. Might not mix so well if you want to use it for chocolate later. Can I use a chocolate fondue set for cheese fondue?
As long as it is a fondue set and NOT a fountain set, you should be fine, I would think.

Sounds delic! Do have fun!
