Is there a difference between the chocolate in a chocolate fountain and chocolate fondue?

i was wondering if the chocolate in a chocolate fountain is just chocolate fondue. or is there a difference?

yes there is a difference,

Chocolate fountains usually use what is considered coating chocolate, a type of chocolate that rather then cocoa butter has fat (shortening, veg. oil etc) to keep it from hardening or blooming

Chocolate fondue, is not meant to be re-circulating so it is usually a purer chocolate and most likely contains a liquor.Is there a difference between the chocolate in a chocolate fountain and chocolate fondue?
