Fondue Help!?

I need some good ideas/recipes for fondue. We want to do a chocolate fondue and a cheese fondue. any other ideas?Fondue Help!?
To serve with Cheese Fondue:

bread cubes, broccoli, cauliflower, apples (granny smith are the best with the cheese), baby potatoes, tortilla chips, kielbasa, chorizo, tomatoes

You can also make bacon and crumble it up. Once you dip another item in the cheese you then dip it in the bacon. You can also do this with string fried onions or shallots.

To serve with Chocolate Fondue: bananas, strawberries, pound cake, rice crispy treats, biscotti, brownies, marshmallows, pretzels, pineapple, cheese cake

Cut all items into cubes.

Do a search on the Internet for other fondue recipes. There are so many variations. Check out the menu for the chain fondue restaurant, The Melting Pot, for inspiration. http://www.meltingpot.com/Fondue Help!?
Serve marshmallows, bananas, apples, strawberries, pretzels, and cake cubes with the chocolate fondue.

Serve French bread cubes, pretzels, breadsticks, veggies, and tortilla chips with the cheese fondue.

Pizza fondue

4 ounces bulk sausage

1 small onion, chopped finely

1 clove garlic, minced

1 (30 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce

1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

2/3 cup chopped pepperoni

1 teaspoon dried basil or oregano, crushed

1/4 cup chopped green sweet peppers (optional)

In a large skillet, brown the sausage, garlic, and onion. In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart crockery cooker together, blend sauce mushrooms, pepperoni, and basil/oregano. Stir in the first mixture. Cover and cook over low-heat for 3 hours. Add sweet pepper if using. Cover and cook on low-heat for 15 minutes. Serve with breadsticks, crackers, pretzels, etc.

Caramel fondue

3 (14 ounce) bags caramels, unwrapped

1/3 cup milk (or more if needed)

8 ounces soft cream cheese

--Combine caramels, milk, and cream cheese in a large Dutch oven; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until caramels melt and mixture is smooth. Add additional milk if mixture is too thick for dipping. Spoon into fondue pot or chafing dish. Serve with apple wedges, marshmallows, pretzels, bananas, strawberries, etc.

Mexican beer fondue

3/4 cup mexican beer (any light beer will work; a dark beer will overpower the other flavors)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese

1/3 cup minced green chilies

--Mix together all of the ingredients in a fondue pot or heavy saucepan. Stirring frequently, warm until the mixture is smooth and the cheese melts. Keep warm for serving in the fondue pot or on the stove. Serve with tortilla chips.

These are great!

Enjoy!
