Fondue prices at the melting pot?

My boyfriend and I are big cheese lovers. Our 3 year anniversary is coming up and I wanted to treat him to some cheese or even chocolate fondue. I was wondering if anyone knew approx prices for the fondues only...Fondue prices at the melting pot?
Maybe if you make the fondue yourself he'll pop the question. It is easy to make fondue at home here are some recipes:
Prices vary by location, here is a sampling from one in Michigan

Cheese Fondue

Each cheese fondue includes fresh breads, vegetables and apples for

dipping. Please choose one cheese fondue per cooktop at your table.

$14.00 (serves 1-2) $7.00 per additional person

If you do just a cheese fondue (they consider it an appetizer) and just a choc fondue (dessert), you can probably get out of there for around $50-60, depending upon where you live. No alcohol or soft drinks, tho. To save money, drink water.

Their site says prices vary by location. Put your zipcode in on that page, and you can get an idea. Also, call and ask if they have specials you can take advantage of, or online or newspaper coupons.

They are pretty expensive. When my dad and I went, it was about $80 for both of us. We got the cheese fondue, salads, meats, and the chocolate fondue though. They do give you a lot of food. Go to restaurants.com and buy a certificate. That will help.
I suggest seeing if you have a local fondue place. Ours is a million times better then meltign pot and a bit cheaper. For 2 you are looking at at least $80 there.
