what kind of and how much chocolate do i put in my fondue pot? Do I add anything like liquid? Do i just put blocks of chocolate in there and melt it? Help.Chocolate fondue question......?
You will want to get specialty chocolate for candy making, you can fine this at Michael's craft store. You may want to call you local chocolate store and ask them the brand you need. The chips should be disk shaped about the circumfrence of a quarter.
Do not get block chocolate or regular chocolate chips, you will then need to add vegetable oil. This will turn out to be a huge mess and if you do not mix it properly the chocolate will not stick to your dipping items.
You can use any kind of chocolate milk, dark, semi-sweet, or white. Depending on how much chocolate your melting, just add heavy or whipping cream a tablespoon at a time while melting. When you've reached the desired consistency you can stir in some flavored liqueur like Amaretto, Kahlua, Irish Cream, or carmel flavored.Chocolate fondue question......?
