what kind of choclate do I use...?? can I just use chocolate chips..?? how many??? whatelse do I need...??? I've foudn a few recipes with amaretto or brandy should I add alcohol or is it better with out?? This recipe is very easy to make and only has 4 main ingredients. If you dont have the small crock pot or little dipper...no problem. Just make it in the microwave in a large measuring cup heating at 30 seconds or so intervals.

Candy Bar Fondue
Ingredients:
6 each 1 1/2 -ounce candy bars (9 oz)鈥?anything from Mounds to Peanut Butter Cups)
1/2 cup medium to heavy cream (half %26amp; half)
Directions:
Break up bars, combine with cream in fondue pot or blazer pan of chafing dish and stir over low heat until melted and smooth.
Variations and Additions: Use 9 ounces of straight milk chocolate, bittersweet or orange-flavored chocolate.
or add 1 tablespoon of freezer-dried coffee.
Dippers: pound cake, angel food cake, gingerbread, ladyfingers, strawberries, bananas, marshmallows
