The thing is I've been trying so hard to force myself in a eat-healthy, live-healthy routine by prioritising uncooked veggie and fruits, eating lean meat and drinking skim milk and plenty of water only. I stopped consuming junk food and all the things which are high in carbonhydrate and sugar. But you know how it's really irresistable to see sweetened things right ? Like doughnuts and cakes,... So I wonder if allowing myself to eat those junk food once every fortnight will mess up my routine. BTW, I am following a very strict and healthy work-out plan.Does allowing yourself to enjoy some chocolate fondue and latte screw up your exercise plan ?
No. Generally one "cheat" meal is a good idea each week. So, when you go out on Saturday night (or go to grandma's for dinner on Sunday evening), eat whatever you want within reason. Don't eat so much that you feel sick, and try to stop before you feel full, but after you are satisfied. Doing this once every week will help to keep you from full-on binging when you have an off-limits food because you know you have whatever you want coming to you in less than 7 days.Does allowing yourself to enjoy some chocolate fondue and latte screw up your exercise plan ?
It won't mess you up at all. It's a good idea to eat on the 20-80 plan. 80% of your calories from essential foods, and 20% from delicious foods. It's worked for me.
