How do you make cheese fondue for a chocolate fountain?

My mom got a chocolate fountain for her birthday yesterday and I was wondering how do you prepare the cheese for it to melt in the fountain? How do you make cheese fondue for a chocolate fountain?
It won't work that way. I sure wouldn't want to clean up afterwards. How do you make cheese fondue for a chocolate fountain?
I can't think of a better way to misuse a perfectly good product. "Use product as UNintended". Seriously though, I don't think that a cheese fondue "fountain" is possible. Cheese fondue has a few items in there (garlic oil, cheese, cornstarch, white wine, kirsch)...that could "separate" and then it wouldn't be fondue anymore...just a big ol mess. How about you just make the fondue in a regular pot on the stove and have the chocolate fountain going on for dessert. How do you make cheese fondue for a chocolate fountain?
Cheese sauce is too thick to work in that--it will gum up and ruin the machine.
