Chocolate and Oil. Trial and error for the ratio.I need help fast! making chocolate for fondue fountain.?
for every 300g of chocolate you need one cup of vegetable oil.

dark chocolate is usually the best, but use whatever you like. for milk and white chocolate the oil ratio could be lower because it has a higher oil content than dark chocolate and melts at lower temperatures. it also depends on the brand of chocolate you use, so if the chocolate doesn't seem runny enough, add more oil. you work it out with practice.

make sure before you add the melted chocolate to the fountain you leave the machine on for about 5 minutes to warm up, so the chocolate won't block the pump. and ofcourse add the chocolate to the fountain very well melted, no lumps. the fountain will not melt any lumps, it's designed to maintain the temperature, it doesn't reach a high enough temperature to melt.

to serve, have chopped up pieces of fruit, small pieces of cake or meringues, marshmellows... pretty much anything tastes good dipped in chocolate
Try to stick to chocolate with cocoa content of atleast 45% (dark chocolate), that way you won't need to add oil. Also, check out the source links for fondue recipes.I need help fast! making chocolate for fondue fountain.?
The best way I feel to do it is that you use Milk chocolate and white chocolate morsels and cocoanut oil (melted).
