Type of chocolate for casamoda fondue?

What type of chocolate works best? Baking chocolate or chocolate bars? ThanksType of chocolate for casamoda fondue?
Hi,

You can use lots of different types of chocolate depending on what you are trying to achieve. The most important thing is to NOT let the chocolate boil. This would result in it hardening and forming a ball.

So you can try Toblerone or Mars bars. See the links below for the recipes you can use.

You can also use baking chocolate in the following recipe:

125 ml (1/2 cup) Water

250 g (1/2 lb) Dark chocolate

100 g (3.5 oz) Milk chocolate

300 ml (1 1/4 cup) Cream, 35%

10 Marshmallows, large

Assortment of chocolate dippers

1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil, then discard. Do not dry the saucepan.

2. Pour the cream in the saucepan and heat over medium heat until it is hot (about 2 minutes).

3. Add the dark and milk chocolate and stir until it melts and has a smooth texture.

4. Add the marshmallows and stir.

5. Transfer to you warm fondue pot.

6. Dip bite size pieces of chocolate dippers.

7. Enjoy and repeat but no double-dipping!

Recipe from the "best fondue" website see below.

Note:, if your chocolate hardens, add some butter and try to melt it again (about 1 tbs at a time).
