What fruits are best to use in chocolate fondue?

Which are the best tasting and which are the ones to avoid?What fruits are best to use in chocolate fondue?
Bananas and berries (like strawberries) are thye best. Stay away from "soft" fruit. The fruit used should be firm and dry, not wet with juices.

I tried Strawberries, Bananas, and Kiwis.



What about pineapple?!
Ohhh, I LOVE strawberries in chocolate, but I learned last week that green apple slices are DIVINE in chocolate. Go figure! I ate so many I felt a little sick afterwards. Not to mention piggish.

I will not do orange, grapefruit, kiwi they are to watery and not to firm.
Firm fruits not watery or mushy, straw berries, apples, bananas, pears, heard grapes are good. Stay away from kiwi, black berries, blue berries, too small.
Add some marshmallows to any fruit. You can even premake some fruit kebabs with pineapple, apple, strawberries and bananas
I think strawberry is the best choice....

the combination of sour and sweet is really good....................

best are strawberries, cherries, bananas, coconut, pinneapple. bad ones are grapefruit, watermellon, oranges, apples, grapes, kiwi....
I have tried and enjoyed: strawberries, cherries, pound cake(awesome) , marshmallows, cantelope/muskemelon, bananas, and even grapes (so-so).



If you use bananas, cut them right before serving... otherwise they turn brown while eating the other courses.
