With cheese use a good, crusty bread, some fresh raw veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, etc.), and some cubed or sliced cooked chicken breast. With chocolate you can use any fruit you like (strawberries and apples are particularly good) and jumbo marshmallows.

Sounds like a wonderful, romantic, delicious evening. Don't forget to feed each other. What goes with a cheese fondue?

Crispy french bread and sour fruits like Granny Smith Apples go really well with cheese fondue. It helps if you pour a little white wine in the fondue- it makes it taste better and prevents it from sticking to the sides.

Strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, and angel food cake/ pound cake go really well with chocolate fondue.
