Does anyone have a recipe for this with times etc.Can you melt cooking chocolate %26amp; keep it warm in the rice cooker for fondue dipping?
When we melt chocolate at work, we set the bowls on heating pads to keep it nice and creamy/melty.
You can easily melt chocolate in the rice cooker but the temperature is too high and will scorch the chocolate, ruining it. Chocolate is very delicate and should not be heated over 115 fCan you melt cooking chocolate %26amp; keep it warm in the rice cooker for fondue dipping?
I don't know if that will work, but you could keep it in a steel bowl over a pot of warm water. That will keep it warm for fondue style dipping.

I don't suggest a rice cooker, but I have used a crock pot to melt chocolate before, i woul try that. It does keep it melted.
