Hi! I am going to make chocolate fondue tonight and I have a Godiva fondue pot that you stick a candle under. I was doing some research and it said that the candle is only for keeping the fondue warm and you should melt the chocolate on the stove. Is it possible for me to melt the chocolate on the fondue pot? If so, can you please give me instructions? Please remember that it is only one small candle under the chocolate (I will be using chocolate chips), so will that be enough? Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to read this :DChocolate Fondue Help Please!?
do it in the microwave...heat 20 seconds stir repeat till melted....to do it in the fondue pot with a candle you would have to do it in small amounts and it will take forever and be a mess....places with microwaves....Gas station, Laundromat, neighbor, HotelsChocolate Fondue Help Please!?

No.
Is there a reason you don't believe the manufacturer? Do you really think a single tealight candle is hot enough to melt chocolate? Good grief.
Pour the chocolate chips into a pot. Add a splash of cream, milk or liquer. Melt over low heat. Pour into fondue pot. It's not rocket science.
