Has anyone ever rented one before? Are they easy to set up? Would you recommend it? Please share your detail. -Thanks.Have You Used a Chocolate Fondue Fountain Before?
A family friend of mine has one.
You would want fruits like Banana, Strawberry, and Orange to dip in chocolate and maybe some out of the ordinary things as well, like Oreo or other candy/sweets. Remember to pick up loads of toothpicks for people to pick up the food with.
You melt the chocolate and pour it in. It is like a water fountain that keeps circulating the water, except this circulates the chocolate. The meltable chocolate looks like little discs and can be found in craft shops or chocolate shops. You could probably order this online or just buy candy bars and melt them down.
Depending on what fountain you get, it may come off in parts for easy washing. You would want to eat as much of the chocolate as possible before you disassemble the fountain. You should wash it out when the chocolate is still melted, so it's a lot easier to clean rather than picking off hardened chocolate.
