Is it ok to eat cheese/chocolate fondue while pregnant?

Just wanted to make sure before we try out a fondue restaurant tonight! I'm 12 weeks pregnant.

As long as the cheese is pasteurized (has been heated before consumption to kill some unwanted bacteria) it should be fine. Even if the particular cheese you will be eating actually hasn't been heated before they cook it either way it still is going to be heated so either way you are going to be fine. Eat away. do you know what kind of cheese is in the fondue? If it is blue. I.e stilton then I would keep away but if its something like cheddar then you should be fine ( I know you're 12 weeks but its better to be safe then sorry) and as for the chocolate have as much as you want x

Yup chocolate is fine...the cheese is too since it's most likely pasteurized.
yes totally fine ... they just say to stay away from blue cheeses and bries ..

most fondues are made with gouda or swiss.
