Whats the best type of chocolate to make fondue with?

sorry if i miss spelled it , but im having a christmas party and i would like to make fondue , i know how to melt it but what would taste good with watermelon strawberries and other Mellon'sWhats the best type of chocolate to make fondue with?
If you are having lighter fruit like melon and watermelon I would recommend having more milk chocolate than dark chocolate in the mixture. Are you sure you want to use melon for chocolate fondue? Strawberries are perfect, but the melons are fragile and mostly water and they don't do well when exposed to something hot like fondue. The chocolate will likely not stick to the fruit because they are so watery, it will just slide off. But, its completely your choice if you want to try it.



I think its typical to create a mixure of different chocolates when making fondue. Any kind of chocolate chips or chocolate pieces will do, but I really love Munson's chocolate because it tastes so much more fresh than lots of other chocolates.
I wouldn't suggest chocolate fondu with melon. An easy EASY fondu would be one 12 oz bag of semi sweet chips, one can of sweetened condensed milk and the juice from one 10-12 oz jar of (red) maraschino cherries. place all ingredients in a bowl and microwave fro 2 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes, stir and eat! This re-heats easily.



For melon, I would suggest a cream cheese dip, personally.

One brick of cream cheese, room temperature, beaten until JUST smooth.

Fold in one jar of Marsh mellow fluff

Serve!



For both of these dips, strawberries, bananas, pineapple, and pound cake are really good

that would depend on what you like I would recommend a semi sweet chocolate and a milk chocolate mix and maybe use Godiva chocolate it is a very good one to use works great with fruit or angel food cake or even a light pound cake. don't forget to use a good alcohol.
Use a high quality chocolate. Watermelon might taste kind of odd dipped in chocolate. You could do milk chocolate and then for dipping have strawberries, marshmallows, graham crackers, rice krispies, etc.Whats the best type of chocolate to make fondue with?
Belgian chocolates
any chocolate is good when hot and gooey. Make a semisweet and a milk chocolate for me.
I usually use Toblerone with a little bit of milk to make it smoother when it melts.
hersheys is my fav. and it is really good if u make it right *suggestion dip w/ strawberries
